alveoli | these are small sacs at the end of the bronchi branches, taking oxygen TO the blood stream and pulling carbon dioxide OUT of the blood as well...

capillaries | tiny blood vessels that cover the alveoli

red blood cells | take sugar and oxygen to the mitochondria (so it can make energy) and take carbon dioxide and water AWAY from the mitochondria after energy is made

mitochondria | an organelle in the animal cell which uses oxygen and sugar to make energy

Movement of the diaphragm | It moves UP when we EXHALE and it pulls DOWN when we INHALE
