Lithium | Mood stabiliser | Weight gain, Leukocytosis, Polyuria/polydypsia, tremor, Headache, Decreased memory, Confusion, N&V, Muscle twitch, Hyperreflexia, Vertigo. Can cause hypothyroidism and hair thinning.

Sodium valproate | Mood stabiliser | Tiredness, tremors, nausea, vomiting and sedation.
