Anorexia Nervosa   characterized by a profound disturbance of body image with a relentless pursuit of thinness often to the point of starvation. It is a reaction for more independence and control

Bulimia Nervosa   more common than anorexia. Patients binge huge amounts of food with huge amounts of liquid. Patients then feel guilty for binging and purge the food by vomiting, using laxatives/enemas, and/or engaging in excessive exercise
