---|---|---|---|---|---|
AV Block (Heart Block) | Problem w/ AV Synchrony: More P's than QRS'S, may have PRI > 0.20 sec or variable PRI
🗑
1 Degree Heart Block | 60-100 beats or less w/ regular rythm. PRI >.20 seconds and qrs <.12 seconds. P:QRS ratio 1:1.(Looks like NSR but PRI is prolonged.
🗑
2nd Degree Heart Block Type I (Mobitz I/ Wenckebach) | Atrial rate > ventricular rate. P to P wave regular, but R to R is irregular. PRI progressively increases until a QRS is dropped. Qrs <.12 seconds. * Longer, longer, longer drop-Wenckebach!
🗑
2nd Degree Heart Block Type II (Cllassical) | Atrial rate > ventricular rate. P to P wave regular, but R to R may be regular or irregular. PRI.12-.20 or>,& constant. QRS <.12 seconds unless BBB exsist. P to QRS ratio may be constant at 1:1, 2:1, 3:1 etc or variable.
🗑
3rd Degree Heart Block | Atrial rate > ventricular rate. P to P & R to R wave regular. PRI varies and is immeasurable. If QRS is junctionally initiated then >.12 if ventricular then <.12 seconds. P:QRS ratio 1:1. P waves burried in QRS or ST segments.
🗑
Junctional Rhythms | P waves inverted & occur before, during, or after QRS complex, depending on depolarization time.
🗑
Premature Junctional Contraction (PJC) | Rate depends on underlying rhythm & it interrupts the underlying rhythm. If PRI is measurable it may be .12-.20 seconds. QRS <.12 seconds & P wave will be inverted if seen.
🗑
Junctional Escape | Rate = 40-60 w/ a regular rhythm & PRI <.12-.20 seconds. QRS is <.12 seconds & P wave will be inverted if seen.
🗑
Accelerated Junctional | Rate = 60-100 w/ a regular rhythm & PRI <.12-.20 seconds. QRS is <.12 seconds & P wave will be inverted if seen.
🗑
Junctional Tachycardia | Rate = 100-180 w/ a regular rhythm & PRI <.12-.20 seconds. QRS is <.12 seconds & P wave will be inverted if seen.
🗑
1500 Rule | Only works for regular rhythms. From P to P or R to R wave (starting with one that falls on a dark line).
🗑
Normal Sinus Rhythm (NSR) | Must have a P wave. 60-100 bpm
🗑
Sinus Bradycardia | Must have a Pwave. <60 bpm.
🗑
Sinus Tachycardia | Must have a P wave. > 100 bpm.
🗑
QRS Complex | Initiated by the ventricles. 0.06-.12. (1.5-3 small boxes).
