Question
Answer
Goggles   Goggles are large spectacles equipped with special lenses, protective rims, etc., to prevent injury to the eyes from strong wind, flying objects, blinding light, etc.
🗑
test tube   they are a hollow cylinder of thin glass with one end closed, used in chemical and biological experimentation and analysis.
🗑
flask   These are a bottle, usually of glass, having a rounded body and a narrow neck, used especially in laboratory experimentation.
🗑
triple beam balance   A triple beam balance is a type of scale commonly used in a laboratory to determine the mass of sample.
🗑
Density   A measure of the compactness of a substance, expressed as its mass per unit volume.
🗑
Chemical Change   Any process determined by the atomic and molecular composition and structure of the substances involved.
🗑
Physical Change   A change from one state (solid or liquid or gas) to another without a change in chemical composition.
🗑
Proton   A proton is A stable, positively charged subatomic particle in the baryon family having a mass 1,836 times that of the electron.
🗑
Neutron   A neutron is an elementary particle having no charge and mass slightly greater than that of a proton.
🗑
Electron   An electron is a negatively charged particle found outside the nucleus of an atom.
🗑
Group   A group is a column of elements in the periodic table, in which elements have the same chemical properties and number of valence electrons.
🗑
Period   A period is a row of elements in the periodic table arranged by atomic number and they have the same number of electron shells.
🗑
Chemical equation   These are a way of writing a chemical reaction.
🗑
Balanced force   Forces are balanced when the forces pushing (or pulling) an object in one direction are the same size as the forces acting in the opposite direction.
🗑
Unbalanced force   An unbalanced force is when the forces acting on an object are unequal, or that it is not opposed by another force.
🗑
Newton's 1st Law of Motion   This states that an object at rest will stay at rest unless acted on by an unbalanced force, and an object in motion will stay in motion at the same speed and direction unless acted on by an unbalanced force.
🗑
Newton's 2nd Law of Motion   This states the acceleration of an object by a force is inversely proportional to the mass of the object and directly proportional to the force.
🗑
Newton's 3rd Law of Motion   This states that for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.
🗑
Speed   Speed is the distance traveled by an object over time.
🗑
Acceleration   Acceleration is a change in an object's speed or direction over time.
🗑
Distance   Distance is the extent of space between two objects or places.
🗑
Time   Time is a continuous, measurable quantity in which events occur in a sequence proceeding from the past through the present to the future.

Review the information in the table. When you are ready to quiz yourself you can hide individual columns or the entire table. Then you can click on the empty cells to reveal the answer. Try to recall what will be displayed before clicking the empty cell.

To hide a column, click on the column name.

To hide the entire table, click on the "Hide All" button.

You may also shuffle the rows of the table by clicking on the "Shuffle" button.

Or sort by any of the columns using the down arrow next to any column heading.
If you know all the data on any row, you can temporarily remove it by tapping the trash can to the right of the row.
