temperature The measure of how hot or cold the air is
climate The pattern of weather in a certain place over many years
equator Is an imaginary line around the middle of Earth
elevation The height above sea level. It affects temperature.
Sea level The surface of the sea
precipitation The amount of moisture that falls as rain, snow, sleet or hail
Renewable resource Resources that can be replaced
Nonrenewable resource Resources that cannot be replaced
economy The way people use resources to produce goods and services
conservation The careful use of natural resources
pollution Anything that dirties the air, soil or water
