| Landform | Shapes and types of land |
| Ice Age | Periods of extreme cold with glaciers |
| Glacier | Huge slow moving sheets of ice |
| Natural Resources | Something found in nature that people could use |
| weather | The temperature and conditions in a certain place from day to day |
| temperature | The measure of how hot or cold the air is |
| climate | The pattern of weather in a certain place over many years |
| equator | Is an imaginary line around the middle of Earth |
| elevation | The height above sea level. It affects temperature. |
| Sea level | The surface of the sea |
| precipitation | The amount of moisture that falls as rain, snow, sleet or hail |
| Renewable resource | Resources that can be replaced |
| Nonrenewable resource | Resources that cannot be replaced |
| economy | The way people use resources to produce goods and services |
| conservation | The careful use of natural resources |
| pollution | Anything that dirties the air, soil or water |
