What is the gap between neurons called? Synapse
What is the function of the reflex arc? Protect the body from harm
What diffuses between the neurons? chemical messages

What is the function of the sensory neuron? Carries information from the receptors in the sense organ to the inter neuron (CNS).
What is the function of the inter neuron? Carries information from the sensory neuron to the motor neuron.
What is the function of the motor neuron? Carries information from the inter neuron to the effector to produce a response.
Where are receptors located? sense organ
Which part of the brain allows someone to move away from a hot iron? Cerebellum (controls balance, movement, coordination)
Which part of the brain allows someone to remember that they have school in the morning? Cerebrum (memory, personality)
Which part of the brain allows someone to maintain their breathing rate? Medulla (involuntary processes)
