Metrics

TermDefinition
Metric System decimal system of units based on the meter used as a unit length, the kilogram as as a unit mass, and the second as a unit time.
Length is the measure of distance between two points.
Mass the measure of the quantity of matter contained in an object.
Volume amount of space occupied by a three dimensional object or egion of space.
Meter (m)metric standard for line measure.
Liter basic unit of volume
Gram unit of mass
Weight force created by the responce of mass to the pull of gravity
Gravity natural force of attraction between any two bodies
Scale measures weight of an object
