TERMDEFINITION
METRIC SYSTEM demicaln systems of a unit based on the meter as a unit length
LENGTH the distance between two points
MASS measure of the amount of matter
VOLUME amount of space an object takes up
METER an arranged pattern of rhythm in a line of verse
LITER basic unit of volume
GRAM a metric unit of mass, equal to 0.001 kg () or equivalent to approximately (0.035 oz.)
WEIGHT a measure of the pull of gravity on an objects mass
GRAVITY the atraction brtween two objects.
SCALE a device on which something or somebody can be weighed
