Code Red: Alpha Metrics 1

TermDefinition
Metric System Decimal system of units based on the meter as a unit length, the kilogram as a unit mass, and the second as a unit time.
Length Distance from point to point.
Mass Amount of matter contained in an object.
Volume The space that matter occupies.
Meter Metric standard for line measure, unit of distance.
Liter Basic unit of volume.
Gram Unit of mass.
Weight Force created by the response of mass to the pullof gravity, measure of the heaviness of an object.
Gravity Natural force of attraction between any two massaive bodies, which is directly proportional to the product of thier masses and inverselym proportional to the square of the distance between them.
Scale An instrument to measure weight.
