TERMSDEFINITION
AUXILIARY An adhesive label with specific instuctions or information pertaining to the medication it is adhered to.
INPATIENT PHARMACY A hospital or institutional pharmacy
HARD COPY The original prescription.
ADJUDICATION The electronic determination of a person's insurance coverage is confirmed.
OTC over the counter
OUTPATIENT PHARMACY A community pharmacy
RTS Return to stock
RX Latin for "recipe"
SCRIPT A prescription
SIG Medication direction written in pharmacy terms on a prescription.
