Anorexia Loss of appetite
Incontinence Inability to hold or retain urine
Pyuria Pus in the urine
Ascites Abnormal accumulation of fluid in the peritoneal cavity
Urinary frequency Frequent urination
Nocturia Excessive urination at night
Hematuria Blood in the urine
Replacement therapy Therapeutic replacement of lost body substances
Malaise Discomfort or a nonspecific feeling of uneasiness, often a sign of illness
Diuresis Loss of water in the body
Kernicterus Jaundice occuring in infants during the second to eighth day of life
Solute Substance dissolved in a solution or in body fluids
Lethargy Feeling of sluggishness
Enuresis Involuntary discharge of urine after an age when bladder control should be achieved; usually called "bedwetting"
Oliguria Scanty urination
Urgency Sudden, uncontrollable need to urinate
Dysuria Painful urination
Electrolyte Substance that uncouples into loss in solutions and then conducts an electrical charge
Solvent Liquid in which substances are dissolved
