Sodium Nitroprusside (Nipride,Nitropress) Headaches, dizziness, nausea, abdominal pain, sweating, weakness, and vomiting
Albuterol Sulfate (Proventil) Tremor, dizziness, nervousness, restlessness, blurred vision, headache
Pantoprazole (Protonix) Headache, dizziness, migraine, chest pain, constipation, diarrhea, rhinitis, neck pain, and rash
Indomethacin (Indocin) GI upset and ulceration are common. (Take drug with food)
Atorvastatin (Lipitor) Rare. Headache, rash/pruritus, constipation, diarrhea, sinusitis, pharyngitis
Acyclovir Sodium (Zovirax) N, V, D, Headache, tremors, lethargy, rash, pruritus, increased bleeding time, phlebitis at IV site
Ibuprofen (motrin, advil) Anorexia, N, V, D, edema, rash, purpura, tinnitus, fatigue, dizziness, lightheadedness, anxiety, confusion, fluid retention with edema
Insulin Glargine (Lantus) Confusion, agitation, tremors, headache, flushing, hunger, weakness, lethargy, fatigue, urticaria, redness, irritation, or swelling at insulin injection site
Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride (Sudafed) anxiety, nervousness, and palpations
Corticotropin (Acthar) N, V, increased appetite, mood swing (euphoria to depression), petechiae, water and sodium retention, hypokalemia, hypocalemia
Phenobarbital (Luminal) Adverse effects: Paradoxical excitement in elderly patients, somnolence , changes in EEG, N,V, hypotension. Life Threatening: Bradycardia, Respiratory depression, and apnea
FiberCon (Polycarbophil) Bulk-forming laxatives are not systemically absorbed; therefore there is no systemic effect. If bulk-forming laxatives are excessively used, N, V, flatus, or Diarrhea may occur. Abdominal cramps may occur if the drug is used in dry form
