WordDefintion
Angular Unconformity tilted or folded sedimentary rocks that are overlain by younger rocks.
Cenozoic time of recent life
Cross-Cutting An igneous intrusion or fault that cuts through preexisitng rock.
Faunal Succession The evolution of life is recorded in the rock record in the form of fossils.
Inclusions Pieces of one rock type contained within another.
Mesozoic time of middle life
Original Hoizontally Layers of Sediment deposited evenly horizonatally.
Palezoic time of ancient life
Precambrian Time of hidden life
Radiometric Dating A scale to determine the age of a rock.
Superposition An undeformed sequence (Flat) of sedimentary rocks.
Unconformity Gaps or breaks in rocks.
