The ignition coil consists of a soft metal bar surrounded by what? Two coils of copper wire
What effect does switching on the primary circuit have on the coil? It builds up voltage in the coil
What triggers the release of the spark from the coil? switching off the primary circuit
What term is used to describe the moment the spark occurs at the spark plug? Ignition timing
The period of time that current is passing through the primary side of the coil is known as what? the dwell period
