Force

QuestionAnswer
What is Newtons 1st law of motion? An object at rest tends to stay at rest, an object in motion tends to stay in motion.
What is Newtons 2nd Law of motion? An object will only move if there is an unbalanced force acting upon it.
What is Newtons 3rd law of motion? For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.
What happens when there is an equal amount of force in opposite directions? The force balances out, and the object doesn't move.
What causes objects to slow down? Friction
Why is friction good? It helps us brake, create heat, and start fires.
Why is friction bad? It causes road rash, keeps us from going as fast as we want to, and causes earthquakes.
