Adolescence Period of time between puberty and full maturation
Puberty Period of human development during which people become able to produce children
Hormones Chemical substances made and released in one part of the body that causes change in another part
Testes Male reproductive structures that make sperm and produce testosterone
Sperm Sex cells produced by male reproductive organs and are needed to fertalize an egg
Eggs Sex cells that are produced by female reproductive organs
Fertilization The process by which a sperm and an egg and their genetic material join to create a new life
Penis Male reproductive organ that removes urine from the males body and delivers sperm
Semen Mixture of sperm of other stuff from the male reproductive prgans
Jock Itch Fungal infection of groin area. Itchy rash in groin.
Cystitis (bladder infection) Inflammation of the uinary bladder. Burning during urination, blood in urine, inflammation of bladder.
Prostatis Bacterial infection of the prostate, inflammation of the prostate
Inguinal Hernia Bulging of portion of the intestines
Testicular torsion Twisting of the testes
Undescended Testes Failure of one or both of the testes to move into the scrotum
Prostate Cancer Abnormal division of cells in the prostate
Testicular Cancer Abnormal division of cells in the testes
Ovaries Female reproductive organs that produce eggs
Vagina Female reproductive organ that connects the outside of the body to the uterus
Fallopian Tubes Female reproductive organs that transport eggs from the ovaries to the uterus
Uterus Female reproductive organ that provides a place for a baby to grow
Menstrual Cycle Monthly cycle of hormones controlled by changes that prepare the uterine lining for pregnancy
