| Antagonist | a drug that block a response |
| Peak Drug Level | highest plasma concentration of a drug at a specfic time |
| Trough Level | Lowest plasma concentration of a drug, drawn immediatly before the next dose is due reguardless of route |
| Therapeutic range | (therapeutic window) drug level btw the minimum effective concentration for desired drug action and minimum toxic concentration the toxic effects |
| High Therapeutic Index | Wide margin of safety less danger of producing toxic effects |
