Direct Method based on how we aquire our first language, focus on speaking and listening comprehension, emersion in L2, grammar/words/rules learned through use of language, teacher directed learning
Audio-Lingual language learned through repetition, drill and practice, rote memorization, focus on pronunciation, phonology and morphology
TPR (Total Physical Response) related to direct method, more modern way of using a process of speaking, listening, reading and writing, based on comprehensible input, understanding before oral production, use of non-linguistic teaching, emphasize vocabulary
