Contraction Types

QuestionAnswer
Isotonic Contractions- Concentric A concentric contraction is one where the length of the muscle shortens.
Isotonic Contractions- Eccentric An eccentric contraction is one where the muscle lengthens.
Isometric contractions An isometric contraction is where the length of the muscle barely changes,if at all.
