Background-a graphic that appears behind the information in a worksheet; solid colors, patterns, or pictures that fill the entire slide and appear behind the slide’s content
Border-a line or box that frames text or a cell
Cell style-a set of formatting traits that has been given a name
Delimiter-a divider that separates text
Font-the overall design of a full set of characters. Also known as typeface
Font style-an effect that can be applied to a font, such as bold, italic, or underline
Graphic list-a graphic that may be used in a list, such as a bulleted or numbered list
Horizontal alignment-the side-to-side placement of the contents of a cell Smart Art-a gallery that contains six types of customizable diagrams
Table style-a pre-defined set of formats that can be applied to a range of data
Theme-a collection of design elements, graphics, and colors that help items such as documents, presentations, and Web pages maintain a consistent image
Vertical alignment-the top-to-bottom placement of the contents of a cell
Convey-to visually communicate
Distinct-distinguishable to the eye or mind as discreet; separate
