QuestionAnswer
What is the definiton of Specially Designed Instruction? Adapting contact, methodology, or delivery of instruction at no cost to parents and to meet the childs need.
How are you eligible to be considered for special education services? In order to be eligible you must have a disabilitly, and that disability must adversally effect the student education performance.
What is the meaning of Zero Reject? You must include every student no matter what the disaplitly is!
IDEA The IDEA gives money to to the state and local school to help improve the students education!
Team Members of an IEP? Students parents One regular eduaction teacher One Special Education teacher Provider for speciality designed instruction Interpreter of teh proper instudetions Other people with knowledge of expertise.
Least Restricitve Enviroment Students recieveing special accomodations in teh classroom where they are pulled out of teh classroom to be in a restrictive area.
Section 504 Plan Section 504 protects the rights of the students with disability in the programs and activities in public schools and other programs.
What is an IEP An IEP describes the students abilities, strengths and the students needs. it includes information such as goals and how they will be measured.
Assistive technology Services A variety of services that directly assist a child with a disability in the selection, acquisition, or use of an assistive technology device.
