Topical Dosage Routes Applied to the surface of the skin or mucous membranes
Topical Dosage Routes are Inhalation, Ophthalmic (eye) by installation, Otic (ear), Nasal (nose) by installation or spray, Rectal, & Vaginal
Most Common Topical Dosage Form Ointments, Creams, Gels, Suppositories, Patches, Lotions,& Inhalants
compliance a patient's adherence to the dose schedule and other particular requirements of the specified regimen
peroral administration of a medication by mouth in either solid form, as a tablet or capsule, or in liquid form, as a solution or syrup; often referred to as oral
