Describe the work of Petrology Studies Rocks and the conditions in which rocks form
Describe the work of Stratigraphy a branch of geology, studies rock layers and layering (stratification). It is primarily used in the study of sedimentary and layered volcanic rocks.
Describe the work of Geo-morphology The scientific study of landforms and the processes that shape them. It seeks to understand why landscapes form, to understand landform history and dynamics.
Define the word tectonic The architecture of the Earth's Crust (Bailey 1935)
