How do action and reaction forces work together when a frog jumps from a log? The action force is the frog pushing its legs backward on the log. The reaction force is the log pushing forward on the frog. The frog moves forward and the log is pushed backward.
How does friction affect inertia? Friction is a force that affects inertia. It acts by slowing the movement of objects.
