LoudnessThe amount of energy in sound.
Intensity amount of frequency per second through unit of area.
Cochlea Fluid filled cavity in ear
overtone Frequency that is high.
Fundamental tone frequency that is low.
echo reflection of sound.
Trough lowest point of wave.
crest highest point of wave
transverse wave wave that goes up and down.
longitudinal wave wave that goes side to side.
rarefaction a space in a wave.
compression a clump in a wave.
frequency amount a given point of wave passes.
pitch sound of the frequency of a wave.
amplitude height of the wave.
wavelength length of the wave.
Music sound that makes nice sounds.
elasticity sound or object that can bounce back to original state.
