What is photosynthesis? The process that uses light to make food.
What does photosynthesis use? Chlorophyll.
What are the reactants of photosynthesis? Carbon Dioxide,water, and sunlight.
What are the products (or waste products) of photosynthesis? Glucose and Oxygen.
What is respiration? The reverse process of photosynthesis.
What are the reactants of respiration? Glucose and Oxygen.
What are the products of respiration? Carbon Dioxide and Water.
What is Aerobic Respiration? It requires Oxygen to create energy.
What does Anerobic Respiration (A.K.A Fermentation) do? Breakes down Glucose to prduce energy when Oxygen is not available?
What are the waste products of Fermentation? Carbon Dioxide and Alcohol.(ethenol or lactic acid)
What does Carbon exist as in the enviroment as? Carbon Dioxide.
What takes Carbon out of the atmosphere? Photosynthesis.
What adds Carbon to the atmosphere? Respiration.
What is used by humans to make protien? Nitrogen.
What human influence that has a negative affect on the enviroment called? Pollution.
What 4 stages are in complete metamorphosis? 1.egg 2.larva 3.pupa 4.adult
What are the larvea? Worm-like and molt their skin to grow larger.
What is the pupa stage? The cocoon.
What are the 3 stages of incomplete metamorphosis? 1.egg 2.nymph 3.adult
What are nymphs? Looks like small adults with wing buds.Who molt their exoskeleton to grow.
