What is a Bronchi ? Near the center of the chest a right bronchus and a left bronchus the right bronchus is shorter wider and exends more verically than the left bronchus
What is a Bronchioles ? the bronchi continue to divde into smaller and smaller bronchi until finally, they divid into the smaller branches
What is a Cellular respiration ? Since the carbon dioxide concentration is higher in the tissues cells than in the blood stream
Whaat is Cilia ? help movie the mucous layers that lines the airways pushing trapped particles to ward. the esophagus where they can be swallowed
What is Epiglattis ? special lef like pieces of cartilage close the opening into the larynx during swallowing
What is Expiration? Air is found out of the lungs and air passages.
What is an external respiration ? The exchanges of oxgen and carbon dioxide bewteen the lungs and blood stream
What is Inspiration ? Process of breathing in air
What is an internal respiration ? The exchange of carbon dioxide and oxygen between the tissue cells by the blood
What is a larynx? voice box lines between the pharynx and trachea
What is a lung? thishas three sections or lobes?
wHAT is a nasal cavities ? lines with a mucous membrance and have a rich blood supply
What is the nasal septum? Divides the nose into hollow spaces
What is a nose? 2 openings called nastrils or nares through which enters
What is a Pharynx? lines directly behind the nasel cavities
What is a respiration? when the diaphrom and intercostal muscles relax
What is a respiratory system Consits of the lungs and air passways
What is sinuses? cavities in the skull the surround the nasul area
What is the trachea ? (windpipe) is tube extending from the laryx to the senter of the chest
What is a ventilation ? Process of breathing
Bronchittis inflammation ofbronchi and bronchial tubes

sinusitis inflammation of mucous membranes lining sinuses
epistaxis ` a nosesbleed
teberculosis infection lung disease caused by bacteria
