Periodic describes something that occurs or repeats at regular intervals
Periodic laws The law that states that the repeating chemical and physical properties of elements change periodically with the atomic number of the elements
Period in chemistry, a horizontalrow of the elements in the periodic table

Alkali metal one of the elements of grop 1 of the periodic table
