| Intercalary month | From Latin word "intercalo" which means to call among. Extra 13th month added to lunar calendar |
| Rosh Hashana | Jewish New Year. Occurs at New Moon |
| Julian calendar | Solar calendar. 365 days. Leap year every 4 years |
| Easter | Christ's resurection (pasch) |
| Passover | Feast of Unleavened Bread. Begins on Full Moon of first month of seasonal year (14th day). Begins with full moon during month of vernal equinox |
| Abib | Means sprouting or budding. First month of spring. Also called Nisan |
