Client-centered case consultation consult involves working with the consultee to develop a plan that will enable the consultee to work more effectively with a particular client. the consultant acts as an expert and provides the consultee with relevant info.
Consultee-centered case consultation The goal of this is to enhance the consultee's performance in delivering services to a particular pop or group of clients. Focus on the consultee's skills, knowledge, abilities and objectivity.
Consultee-centered administrative consultation Goal is to improve the professional functioning of members of an administrative staff Consultant generally agrees to work with the organization on a long-term basis
theme interference which is a type of transference in Consultee-centered case consultation that occurs when a past unresolved conflict related to a particular type of client or circumstance is evoked by and interferes with the consultee's current situation.
Program centered administrative consultation Goal of this is to help administrative level personnel improve their professional functioning so they can be more effective in future with regard to program development, implementation, and evaluation.
Supervision This person is usually of the same profession as the supervisee and has administrative responsibility for and is in a position of power over the other person.
Parallel Process Occurs when a therapist replicates problems and symptoms with the supervisor that are being manifested by the therapist's client.
a client is anxious and frustrated and psychological intern is not able to alleviate those symptoms, the intern may enter supervision anxious and frustrated Parallel Process.

Entry id consultee nees, contracting and physically and psychologically entering the system. Resistance most common during this stage.
Diagnosis entails gathering info, defining the problem, setting goals, and generating possible interventions.
Implementation Consists of choosing an intervention, formulating a plan and implementing the plan.
Disengagement Include evaluating the consultation, planning post consultation matters, reducing involvement and follow-up and termination.
