QuestionAnswer
What are descriptive statistics? Describe data, Measures of central tendency, mean median mode, and variability, range and standard deviation.
What are inferential statistics? T-Test, matematical methods used to determine the probability that differences were observed by chance alone.
Independent Variable what the researcher manipulates.
Dependent variable what the researchers measure.
What is the t-test? Used to ask whether the means are related. t= difference between means/variability of groups
What does p mean? Probability that differences observed between groups could occur by chance.
Null Hypothesis States that there is not a significant difference between the two groups.
Alternate Hypothesis States that there is a significant difference between the two groups.
