Physical and chemical changes.

QuestionAnswer
What is a physical change? A change when the chemical composition of the substance does not change.
What is a chemical change? A change when different substances are formed.
What is the Law of Conservation of Matter States that energy can not be created or destroyed only changed from one form to another.
What are exothermic reactions? A reaction that releases energy.
What are endothermic reactions? A reaction whic energy is absorbed.
What is nuclear energy? Energy stored in the nucleus of an atom.
What is nuclear fission? The splitting of atoms.
What is nuclear fusion? The joining of atoms.
