What is a Quark? Protons and neutrons that are made up of smaller particles
Who is democritus? Thought that matter couldnt be divided equally
Who is Aristotle? Matter was made up of 4 elements
Who is dalton? He thought that atoms were tiny hard spheres, all matter is made up of atoms.
Who is thompson? discovered electrons, plum pudding model
what is atomic number? number of protons an atom contains
What is mass number? equal to the total number of protons plus the neutrons.
what is atomic mass? average of all known isotopes of an element
What is an energy level? electrons that are arrange into it, and they hold a specific number
How many electrons can each hold? 2,8,18,and 32 electrons
