These colors are made by mixing two primary colors. SECONDARY
Its created by mixing two primary colors plus its secondary color. ex. red-orange INTERMEDIATE
Colors that are side by side on the color wheel ex. red + red orange + orange yellow ANALOGOUS
Two colors that are directly opposite each other on the color wheel. COMPLEMENTARY
A group of three colors that are not equal distant on the color wheel. SPLIT-COMPLEMENT
A group of three colors spaced an equal distance apart on the color wheel. TRIAD
red, yellow, orange, orange-red, red-purple WARM
green-blue, green, blue, purple-blue, purple COOL
white and black can be used to change the value of one color. ex. red, dark red, and light red MONOCHROMATIC
The group black, white, and gray. NEUTRALS
Hue plus white TINT
Hue plus black SHADE
The brightness or dullness of a hue INTENSITY
