tributary | A smaller stream that feeds into a river |
mountain range | A row of connected mountains |
peninsula | A large extension of land that is surrounded by water on three sides |
island | A body of land that is completely surrounded by water |
valley | a low area of land between mountains or hills |
delta | Shaped like a triangle and is formed at the mouth of a river by deposited soil |
