What happened with employment in the 1980s and 1990s? More people opened their own businesses.
What are two advantages of self employment? You have independence, and are your own boss.
What is a disadvantage of self employment? Money
What is an advantage of small companies? You can usually be flexible about your role their.
What is a disadvantage of small companies? There are few oppurtunities for a promotion.
What is an advantage of working for a large company? Salaries can be higher, with benefits inculed.
What is a disadvantage of working for a large company? They have many policies and rules (they also are more likely to lay you off).
