how can we get the message god is sending to us in the scriptures? we can not take them at face vaule. we have to understand the context, we have to attention, to language, history, archaeology, culture, literary forms.
what language was most of the old testament written in? Hebrew
what language was part of the old testament and all of the new testament written in? Greek
when we are reading the bible what are we always reading? a translate which is already a interpretation
