SOUND

QuestionAnswer
Decibel measurement of loudness. Loud music has a high decibel level.
Loudness measure of the audible intensity of wave; related to the energy of a wave; the louder the wave is, the more energy it has.
Noise pollution any human or machine-generated noise that disrupts human or animal life.
Pitch related to the frequency of a wave; it tells you if a note is high or low. Wolves howl at particular pitches to communicate with each other.
Sound waves mechanical and longitudinal waves that need a solid, liquid, or gas (like air) to travel through. Sound waves alternate between compressing the air and expanding the air, which allows you to hear.
