Manipulate to operate or control something
Validity how true or correct something is
Variable any factor that can change during an investigation
Factor Anything that can influence an observation
Treatment something that you administer in order to test different methods
Falsifiable the ability to prove or disprove
Hypothesis an educated guess based on what you already know
Independent variable your test variable you should only have one in an experiment
Dependent variable the results of the change you made
Experimental group the group that is experimented on
Control group the group that is NOT experimented on
Control an experiment set up exactly the same WITHOUT the independent variable
Constant all of the factors kept the same in an experiment
