Define Scientific Method. A way to answer questions that require empirical research and Data-Based conclusions.
What are the 5 steps to a scientific method? 1. Ask a Question; 2. Develop a Hypothesis; 3. Test the hypothesis; 4. Draw conclusions; 5. Make the findings available.
Define Experiment. A research method to determine the cause and effect relationship between two variables by manipulating one variable and observing and recording the resulting changes in the other variable. (Experimental group vs. comparison/control group)
What is the Independent variable? it is the variable in an experiment that is introduced or manipulated to see what effect it has on the dependent variable
