What is renewable energy? Energy that can be used more than once.
What is nonrenewable energy? Energy that can't be reused.
What are renewable energy sources? Wind, solar, and hydroelectric.
What are nonrenewable sources? Fossil fuels.
How does solar energy work? Photovoltaic/silicon cells convert solar light into energy.
Why are they called fossil fuels? They are fuels created from fossils.
What energy source is more convenient? Renewable or nonrenewable? Renewable.
How do fossil fuels effect the Earth? They thicken the ozone layer causing the Earth to heat up.
How much energy does the sun give Earth in one minute? Enough to power the world with energy for one year.
What energy sources are most popular today? Fossil fuels.
