Reviewing different parts of a book. To be used in Library lessons

The person who writes the book Author
The person who draws pictures for the book Illustrator
A book that is not true and written for entertainment purposes Fiction
A book that is written based on facts and actual events (ex. history, science and psychology) Non-fiction
Part of the book facing outward on a shelf with the title of the book on it Spine
Number on the book that designates its place in the library Call Number
Page of the book that informs you on the title, who wrote the book, and who illustrated the book Title Page
List of chapters or sections in the book Table of Contents
Page of the book that contains the publication information, edition information, cataloging information Copyright Page
Date found on the copyright page, that states the year the book was published Copyright Date
Found in the back of the book, this section lists names of people, places, or events that can be found throughout the book Index
Found in the back of the book, this section is a list of terms and their definitions that are found in the book Glossary
