Glasgow Coma Scale A neurological assessment tool used initially after injury to determine arousal and cerebral cortex function.
A total score of eight or less correlates to coma in 90% of patients.
Scores of 9 to 12 indicate moderate brain injuries
scores from 13 to 15 indicate mild brain injuries.
