What is the formula for kinetic energy? Definition. KE=1/2mv to the second power. Energy in motion.
The formula of potential energy. Definition. PE=mgh. Energy being stored.
What are the forms of potential energy Potential energy:gravitational potential energy and elastic potential energy
What are the forms of kinetic energy? Kinetic energy: mechanical energy, thermal energy, chemical energy, electrical energy, electromagnetic energy and nuclear energy
What is gravitational energy? Potential enrgy that depends on the height of the object.
What is the form of potential energy that is compressed or stretched? Elastic potential energy.
The total sum of kinetic and potential energy is caled what? Mechanical energy
The cause by of the movement of atoms? Thermal energy
What is chemical enregy? Energy stored in chemical bonds.
Energy associated with electrical charges. Electrical energy
What is electromagnetic energy? Energy that travel through space in the form of waves.

Energy obtained from flowing water is called what? Hydroelectric energy
What is solar energy? Sunlight is converted to usable energy.
Where does geothermal energy originates from? The earth.
What is biomass? Chemical energy stored in living things or once living things.
Generates electricity from hydrogen reacting with oxygen is called what? Hydrogen fuel cells.
Finding ways to use less energy or used it more efficiently is called what? Energy Conservation.
