Vytorin,ezetimibe,simvastatin:This is a combo of 2 meds. Ezetimibe works reducing the amount of cholesterol that your body absorbs from your diet. Simvastatin is an HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor or "statin". It works by blocking an enzyme that is ness for your body to make cholesterol
Cymbalta,duloxetine:belongs to a group of drigs called SSNRI's. It affects chem in the brain that may become unbalanced and cause deppression. It is used to treat:major depressive disorder, gen anxiety disorder, chronic pain disorder called fibromyalgia, and to treat pain caused by nerve damage in people with diabetes (diabetic neuropathy).
ProAir HFA,Proventil, Proventil HFA, Ventolin HFA, albuterol aero: Relaxes muscles in the airways and increases air flow to the lungs.
Valium, diazepam treats short term symtopms of anxiety & to relieve certain types of muscle spasms, symtoms of alchol withdrawl, & certain types of seizure disorders
Pravachol, pravastatin lowers high cholesterol & triglycerides, increases high-density lipoprotein (hdl, good) cholesterol levels.helps to reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke, & death due to coronary heart disease. slows blood vessel blockage
Klor-con, potassium chloride treats low levels of potassium (hypokalemia). potassium is a mineral that is found in many foods & is needed for several fumctions of your body, esp the beating of your heart.
Tylenol #3, acetominophen w/cod relieves mild to moderately severe pain
Fosamax, alendronate it alters the cycle of bone formation & breakdown in the body. alendronate slows bone loss while increasing bone mass, wich prevents bone fractures. treats postmenopausal osteoporosis & steroid inducid perosis. treats pagets disease of the bone
Elavil, amitriptyline improves depression symtoms by increasing the activity of certain chemicals in your brain (norepinephrine) which helps improve mood
Anaprox & Naprosyn, naproxen treats rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, & juvenile arthritis. treats tendonitis, brstis, gout, menstrual cramps, or mild to moderate pain.
