Discovering Magnetism

Law of magnetic poles Unlike poles attract each other but like poles repel each other
Law of magnetic force The force between two magnetic poles is directly related to the poles strengths. Also states that the force acting between two magnetic poles is inversely related to the square of the distance between them
Magnetic field A region in which other objects are affected by the magnet. Represented by imaginary lines called lines of force
