The Nature of Sound 3 and 4

| sonogram | A device used to reflect ultrasound waves to create a picture. |
| outer ear | It funnels sound waves. |
| middle ear | It transmits sound waves inward. |
| inner ear | Coverts sound waves into a form that travels to our brain. |
| decibel | The unit that measures the loudness of different objects. |
| sound speed | It is determined by elasticity, density, and temperature of the medium which the sound travels through. |
