QuestionAnswer
Structuralist A psychologist that is interested in the basic elements of human experience.
Introspection when people report their thoughts and feelings. Introspection is a method of self-observation.
Functionalist Psychologist that studies how mental processes help people and animals adapt to their environment.
Psychoanalist Psychologist who studies how unconcious motives determine behavior. These are objective psychologists; they observe/listen and interpret.
Behaviorist Psychologists who investigate observable behavior; analyze how organisms respond to changes in their environment.
Humanist Psychologists who believe that each person has freedom in directing their future and growing in their environment.
Cognitivist Study how we process, store, and retrieve information and how sed information influences our thinking, problem-solving, language, and creativity.
Psychobiologist Studies how physical and chemical changes in our bodies influence our behavior. (EX: hormones, genetics, Nervous System, etc.)
